FRIDAY NIGHT - Last Rehearsal!

The Flash Mob is THIS SATURDAY and Friday evening is the last rehearsal!  Come anytime between 17 - 18:30 for an informal aperitif and a quick practice session of the dance.  It isn't necessary to bring your child, but toys will be provided if you choose to bring them. 

If you have friends who would like to participate, but do not know the song in English, we will be using a sound system, so singing is not imperative. 

Spread the word, and we will see you there!

Baby Flash Mob!

Ladybirds is organizing the world’s first BABY FLASH MOB in Piazza del Popolo!  

If you have a child between the ages of 0-4, come out and join us!  We are expecting a large turnout and believe this to be a memorable experience not to be missed. 
This event will be professionally filmed and edited.

The Flash mob will begin with select participants singing Row, Row, Row Your Boat.  The majority of attendees will be singing a reggae version of This Old Man.  The lyrics and MP3 can be found here

Please view the video demonstrating the dance you will do with your child.  It is very simple and can be learned by anyone in a few minutes.  There are no complicated moves and very little to remember. 

REQUIREMENTS:

1.       You must attend ONE rehearsal with OR WITHOUT your child and arrive with the dance already learned from the video.   We will not be teaching the dance during the rehearsal, but we will be working on coordinating all the moves together.  The rehearsal will last less than one hour.

2.       You must be able to hold your child through the majority of the dance.  The dance will last 4 minutes.

REHEARSAL:

Rehearsal will be held at ALL SAINTS CHURCH near Piazza del Popolo on Via del Babuino. Use the Via Gesù e Maria entrance through the garden.

You must attend only ONE rehearsal  – but please arrive on time.   

Please invite your friends as well.  You do not need to be speak English to participate, but should be able to adequately sing the song.

 hate to wimp out on this one, but the worst of the storm is supposed to hit when we are meeting -I don't think being in the basement is a good idea with all the water coming down! Please spread the word - and see you all on Wednesday.

We will be starting back again after the summer vacation on Wednesday, September 12th from 10am-12, at All Saints' Church on Via del Babuino, 153, between Piazza del Popolo, and Piazza di Spagna.
 Trastevere group on Monday is on hold until further notice as we find the right person to run it.  If you have any thoughts to this regard, please let Laura know (Lauraromano7@hotmail.com)  You are all invited to join us at All Saints' in the meantime. Please join our facebook page, where lots of information will be communicated this year.  If you are not on fb, no worries, I will also communicate any changes and special events using our e-mail list.
Please note: This year the church has asked that we use the entrance through the wrought iron gate on Via del Babuino, and park the strollers downstairs.
