Holiday Schedule

Thank you Ladybirds for a fabulous Christmas Party!  We had so much fun and can't wait to do it again next year!

This afternoon's playgroup is the LAST playgroup before we close for the holidays.

We will resume our normal schedule on MONDAY January 12th.

Christmas Party - Saturday Morning!

Excellent news!  Ladybirds has been able to secure a place for our Christmas party despite the construction taking place in the church.  We will be conducting our playgroup/party inside the actual church!  Spectacular!  

We will have circle time, crafts and enjoy a visit from Father Christmas!  

Please bring a small, simple wrapped present that Father Christmas will give to your child when he arrives.  Be sure to write your child's name on the package.

In addition, please bring something that you would like to share to eat.

The cost is the same as any playgroup - 5 euro per child.

We are also looking for parents who can help in setting up or cleaning up after the party.  Please write to ladybirdsplaygroup@gmail.com if you would like to get involved.  We need AS MUCH HELP as we can possibly find.  

Ladybirds Costume Party

This year we will be celebrating our Costume Parties during playgroup throughout the last week of October.  We will have THREE parties that will be held during our regular playgroups.  

Please join us for any of the following times:

Monday, October 27th from 4-6

Wednesday, October 29 from 10 - noon

Friday, October 31 from 10 - noon

We are a community of parents who want to create nice memories for our children, yet also for us!  To this end - please offer to arrive early to help decorate, or stay late to help clean up... or simply bring a nice treat to share with the group.  And don't forget your cameras!

Monday Playgroups are Back!

We are happy to have found a solution for our Monday playgroups.  Please join us every Monday from 4-6 for playgroup!

We are sorry to inform you - but we will need to postpone our Monday afternoon playgroups until we can find someone to run them!

If you know of a native English speaker who would be interested in the job of leading the playgroups on Monday afternoons, please write us at this email: ladybirdsplaygroup@gmail.com as soon as possible.  We love having our afternoon groups - but we need some help to keep it going!!

While we will have NO PLAYGROUP tomorrow, we will continue to meet on Wednesday and Friday mornings.

Join us as we start off our new year of playgroups!  Sunday, Sept. 21st at 10:30 we will be holding our Lollipop Hunt for 2014.  We will begin circle time at 11:00 where we sing our songs in English and play with our parachute.  We will start the actual Lollipop Hunt at 11:30.  Older siblings are quite welcome although we reserve the hunting of Lollipops for those under 4.  Children over 4 will help hide the lollipops for the younger kids.

Please bring a blanket and a snack to share.  We need people to bring juice and water too.

We are meeting at a NEW LOCATION this year.  In the past, our Lollipop Hunts took place at Pincio - however this year we are moving within Villa Borghese to the playground near Il Cinema dei Piccoli off the Via Veneto entrance.  There are plenty of parking lots and is quite accessible through public transportation.  

Like every playgroup - the cost is 5 euro for each child.  

Welcome Back!

We hope you all had a great summer and your little ones are excited about the new year! 

This summer the church has been working on the crypt in an effort to improve the environment for our children. There is a lot of work to be done and frankly, we are grateful for it! We will be able to go back into our play space on WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 24th. (We will post right away if this date changes due to complications.) 

But! In the meantime, SAVE THE DATE - we will be holding one of our fabulous LOLLIPOP HUNTS on Sunday morning the 21st- this way we can catch up with friends and start our year off right. Invitations with all the details including exact time and place are coming soon!
